The Resource Partners of the Klamath IDEA announced today that it will host another “Virtual Business Reopening Summit”, on June 10th from 3:00 to 4:00 pm to assist local small businesses in being ready to move into phase 2 of Oregon’s reopening plan. The summit will take place via the Zoom video conferencing platform. There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required (registration information is included below).
“Our small business community has worked very hard to navigate and adapt to the protocols put in place for reopening in phase 1. Now that both Klamath and Lake Counties have been cleared to move into phase 2 we want to make sure they are as informed as possible about what is and is not changing in phase 2,” said Kat Rutledge, Director of Klamath IDEA and the KCC Small Business Development Center.
The summit will provide an overview of the changes to gatherings, restaurants and bars and well as new guidance for:
- venues and events
- zoos, museums, and gardens
- swimming pools, spas, and courts
- entertainment facilities and
- recreational sports
"Because the guidance this time is not as broad-reaching we will have only one session, but are working to ensure we have both industry and health experts available for the discussion to try and answer questions from the business community," indicated Rutledge.
All sessions will be recorded for later viewing.
Zoom information will be sent via email following registration.
