eResource Sponsor Statement of Collaboration
By signing up, I indicate my professional commitment to participate as an eResource Sponsor of Klamath IDEA – a community initiative committed to creating a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem to increase opportunities for wealth and prosperity in South Central Oregon.
How we define an entrepreneur
I acknowledge that the Klamath IDEA holds that a successful entrepreneur is a growth-oriented and risk-tolerant individual who sees opportunity in creating or expanding a civic, social, or business venture and takes action to leverage the skill and expertise of a network to turn concepts into economic realities that benefit themselves and/or their community.
Recognition of our place in the community
I acknowledge that Klamath IDEA is a unique initiative made up of organizations, sponsors, events, and individuals cooperating for a common purpose: entrepreneur-based economic development. Klamath IDEA serves as the web that connects varying components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem together, amplifying their effect: economic development organizations, government agencies, current and aspiring entrepreneurs, business resource providers, and financial and human capital.
Confidentiality and Use of Information within the Klamath IDEA network
Our work with Entrepreneurs is founded upon their trust in us. As a professional, I agree to hold Entrepreneur/client information in the strictest of confidence, disclosing information with extreme discretion only to parties who have a need to know in order to make a connection which will benefit the entrepreneur. I further agree that a violation of this confidence could result in my being asked to leave the Klamath IDEA network.
Permissions and Philosophies
I give my permission for Klamath IDEA to count me as an engaged eResource Sponsor in the initiative.
I will actively participate in the celebration of entrepreneurs as key to our region’s economic vitality.
As an eResource Sponsor I subscribe to the belief that true entrepreneurial success stories have the “finger-prints” of many partners, sponsors, advisors, and community members on them because economic development is a team sport.
There is no-wrong-door. The entrepreneurs in our region can enter the ecosystem through any door and be guided to an appropriate resource.
I subscribe to the philosophy that “a rising tide lifts all boats,” and I believe that local entrepreneurs have the ability to positively impact economic development.
As an eResource Sponsor I agree to:
- Act in good faith within the network
- Allow Klamath IDEA to market your organization and services on KlamathIDEA.org and in our newsletter as appropriate
- Be responsive to referrals from Klamath IDEA
- Promote the Klamath IDEA community and website, with reciprocal website links, if possible
- Make connections with the aim of helping entrepreneurs find wealth and prosperity
- Be a champion for entrepreneur-based economic development and the concept of the three-legged-stool
