About

KCC Mission

Klamath Community College provides accessible, quality education and services in response to the diverse needs of the student, business, and community. The college supports student success in workforce training, academic transfer, foundational skills development, and community education.

Programming

No matter what your goals are, KCC has a program that will help you attain them. In as little as two years, you can get a degree, you can earn a certification in as little as one year and we also offer less-than-one-year certificates to help you start a Career Pathway or advance an occupation. And KCC credits transfer to many colleges and universities so you can get started on a four-year degree at a fraction of the cost. When you’re ready KCC is ready to help you get started.

At Klamath Community College, we want to support students in making good decisions about potential education and career choices. KCC can ease the transition from high school to community college, from pre-college courses to credit postsecondary programs; and from community college to university or employment.

Whether you are planning to attend college for a few years or you want to build new job skills quickly, KCC offers a variety of programs to prepare students for a range of career fields including Associate of Applied Science degrees, One-Year Certificates of Completion and Career Pathways Certificates.

Klamath Community College (KCC) offers several options for those seeking to complete a GED, ABE or ESL educational goals. KCC’s Klamath Center for Education and Training (K-CET) is an excellent place to begin your journey toward a successful future. In today’s uncertain economy, education is crucial in pursuing a career and entering the workforce. Taking the first step can be challenging but rest assured, K-CET staff are here to offer support every step of the way.

Klamath Community College and WorkSource-Klamath (OED – Oregon Employment Development) have partnered to provide job seeker and employer support services on the KCC campus. The center provides students information on job and career opportunities and WorkSource staff will meet with students for in-depth one-on-one services to help them find a job. The KCC WorkSource Career Center also assists businesses that are seeking trained workers, connecting them with KCC students who are well trained and job ready. The center works closely with KCC’s Student Life Center to offer career exploration services to students as they seek the next step after completing a degree or certificate at KCC, or for those who desire to begin a career while still in school.

Klamath Community College is committed to student success and cultivating positive working and social relations among diverse groups on campus.  Through such programs as Safe Campus, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment that allows everyone to feel like they belong and are welcomed, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, ability or socio-economic status. Safe Campus is a shared vision and a collaborative effort by KCC’s administrators, staff, faculty and students. The KCC community has a right to a safe campus, free of discrimination and violence.
