Klamath County Library Service District
The library system holds over 200,000 items in its physical collection, including books, audiobooks, music CDs, and DVD/Blu-ray discs, lending kits for kids and a Library of Things, which includes a range of items from a horseshoe set to an Instant Pot.
The library participates in the Oregon Digital Library Consortium, so patrons have access to over 30,000 digital materials (downloadable ebooks and eaudiobooks) through Library2Go. We also subscribe to several other streaming/download services like Hoopla, Flipster and Kanopy which grant online access to a full range of digital books, audiobooks, movies, magazines and music with your library card number.
We provide online access to JobNow and HelpNow. JobNow provides users with a host of services to help in each stage of the job search process – from career planning to resume building to the interview – with live coaches available every step of the way. HelpNow offers homework help, skills building and test preparation – including live chats with real tutors – for kindergarten through early college! (They’ll even help you file your FAFSA loan paperwork!)
Uncatalogued honor collections at our libraries and outreach facilities allow people without cards to take home reading and audiovisual materials. In addition to all of these items, thousands of people enter the libraries to utilize print and electronic reference resources; access the Internet on a public computer; enjoy wireless Internet access on their mobile device; or attend a program such as a book club, storytime, or community workshop.
