As you begin to reopen your business, you must follow the State of Oregon’s guidelines and take factors into consideration that you may never have thought about before. Between ensuring your business is being adequately cleaned and following guidelines such as maintaining six feet of social distance in your stores, the success of your business and the health of our community relies on you to reopen carefully and intentionally.
On May 14, a Phase 1 Business Reopening Summit featured experts who shared how to reopen your business for Phase 1. The Summit started with a general overview for employers and then moved into sector-specific breakout rooms. Industries included: Outdoor Recreation, Restaurants/Bars/Tasting Rooms/Distilleries, Retail, and Personal Services. Click here to view the recorded presentations (general session and breakouts).
Most counties in Oregon were approved to move into Phase 2 on June 5, 2020. Klamath IDEA held a phase 2 Virtual Business Reopening Summit on June 10 to address updated guidance for some Phase 1 sectors and new guidance for sectors reopening in Phase 2.
